About Our Company and Its Founder ...

Jack Hagin is President of Funeral Industry Consultants, Inc., and is a licensed Florida Funeral Director/Embalmer. He has worked in and around the funeral industry since 1960. He began writing computer software in 1977 with the advent of the TRS Radio Shack Model I computer. His first one had a whopping 32K of RAM and was a real power house with two floppy drives! The photo below shows him working on an early PC in 1987.

Since he is a licensed funeral director/embalmer, he has a first hand knowledge of what is needed in a computer program for the funeral home. His easy going manner and programming style assures his clients that their customized software will be "user friendly".                                                              Today - 2008

Funeral Industry Consultants, Inc. provides consulting services, statistical research and reports, and "turn key" Linux or Windows based computer systems to the funeral industry -- funeral homes, crematories, cemeteries, direct disposers, and allied suppliers of the funeral industry.
